A local mission and series of initiatives meant to reinforce NAN’s national mission and our commitment to honoring Colorado’s historic social contract
NAN|CO works to empower the people of Colorado by providing extensive education on local and state rights, by training, coaching, and mentoring youth and young adults, by supporting economically small community businesses and by providing resources to confront civil and human rights violations.
NAN|CO is a political, human and civil rights organization chapter that was conceived with a focus on action per the vision of its founder, Rev. Al Sharpton. With the national headquarters representing the scope of its activities and the CO chapter serving as a “network” or reflection of the methodology of the national’s expansion, NAN encompasses the vision of Rev. Sharpton by networking in “action” with individuals, groups and organization throughout the nation.
